Chris Sterling
Chris Sterling is Director of Engineering at Rally Software Development. Mr. Sterling works with clients as an Agile coach, certified Scrum trainer, and technology consultant. He has an extensive technology, process, and consulting background, allowing him to work with a diverse set of clients and teams. Mr. Sterling brings his real-world experience and deep passion for software development into his engagements, enabling others to grasp important points and obtain valuable takeaways.
He is the author of Managing Software Debt: Building for Inevitable Change. Mr. Sterling has taught "Advanced Topics in Agile Software Development" at the University of Washington for its Agile Developer Certificate extension program and has been a speaker at many conferences and group meetings, including Agile 2007-2009, SD West, Scrum Gatherings, and PNSQC 2009. He has been a coordinator of multiple groups, including the International Association of Software Architects (IASA), Seattle Scrum, and Beyond Agile. Mr. Sterling also creates and contributes to open source projects.
