Justin Helmig Summit 2013 Panelist

Justin Helmig has over 15 years of experience in product management, strategy, marketing, and product development in the technology industry.

Mr. Helmig is Executive Vice President of Products and Technology at StrikeIron, a venture backed API company. StrikeIron provides both an API Management platform and a portfolio of data driven APIs. He is responsible for leading the development, product management, operations, IT, and sales engineering teams.

Prior to StrikeIron, Mr. Helmig was Vice President of Product Management at TapRoot Systems, a venture backed smartphone software company. Before joining TapRoot, Mr. Helmig was a member of Texas Instrument’s Worldwide Strategy and Corporate Development group where he was responsible for alliances, mobile operator relationships, product strategy, M&A strategy, and corporate development for the wireless business unit. Mr. Helmig also held various leadership positions at General Instrument and Qualcomm.

Mr. Helmig holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Clemson University and a MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
