He has more than 17 years in the IT field, specializing in the areas of IT strategy, software measurement, outsourcing, and IT process improvement. Mr. Buel is a Senior Consultant at aligne, Inc. and President of Eric Buel and Associates, Inc. Mr. Buel has implemented software measurement programs and negotiated outsourcing relationships within a number of Fortune 500 firms. He served as the conference chairperson for the International Function Point Users Group (IFPUG) from 1997-1999 and has presented nationally on topics including service-level agreements, IT incentive programs, software measurement, and enterprise resource planning implementation.
