JoAnn Magdoff is a Senior Consultant with Cutter Consortium's Social Networking practice and has a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology, augmenting her skills in observation, survey design and data analysis. Currently, she is a psychotherapist in private practice: a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Marriage and Family Therapist. Contemporary Relational and Postmodernist therapeutic approaches inform her interpretation of the construction of the self, the assumptions underlying the team and the meanings invested in networks and the flattened hierarchies of the IM Generation. She welcomes the opportunity provided by working with a multidisciplinary team for the emergence of the analytically unexpected, particularly as it is reflected in use of symbols, construction of meaning, unforeseen values and trends.
