Madge M. Meyer is a public speaker, author, and the founder of Madge Meyer Consulting, LLC. She is known for her unique yet practical approach to advancing innovation and leadership throughout entire organizations. Her book, The Innovator's Path: How Individuals, Teams, and Organizations Can Make Innovation Business as Usual is published by John Wiley & Sons.

Madge was the Chief Innovation Officer and Technology Fellow at State Street Corporation, where she served as Executive Vice President for over a decade. Under her leadership, Madge's teams at State Street were recognized with 32 awards for innovation and excellence, including 12 IT environmental sustainability honors.

Madge has been recognized with 12 awards for her industry and community achievements, including Bank Systems & Technology "Elite 8 Innovators" and Bank Technology News "10th Annual Innovators List," which both honor executives who leverage innovation for competitive advantage. She was recently initiated into the International Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society (BGS) as a Simmons School of Management 2013 Chapter Honoree, recognizing her as a leader in business and management and possessing and supporting the values of BGS.

During the past year, Madge represented State Street as a consultant assisting MIT Collaborative Initiatives to bring innovative solutions to problems broadly ranging from global sustainability to health, education, and veterans' reintegration. Prior to joining State Street, Madge served as First Vice President for Merrill Lynch's Enterprise Technology Services. Earlier in her career, she was a scientific programmer working for IBM on the NASA Orbital Spaceflights. Later on, she advanced through several executive positions at IBM with responsibilities for Information Technology and Telecommunications.

Madge is a graduate in mathematics and chemistry from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor, and was commemorated as the 2010 Honoree on their College of Business Wall of Fame. She continued graduate study in Mathematics at St. Louis University. She currently serves on the board of the Wall Street Technology Association, is a Sierra Ventures CIO Advisory Board member, a member of Simmons College's School of Management Business Advisory Council, a CIO Advisory Board member of Globespan, an Advisory Board member of the Asian American Civic Association, and a member of the DNA Medicine Institute Business Advisory Board.

Madge believes passionately in making innovation "business-as-usual" to continually develop and implement new ideas or solutions that create business value and increase competitive advantage.
