Shannon O'Donnell is a Consultant with Cutter's Innovation & Enterprise Agility practice. Ms. O'Donnell is the Project Manager for Cutter Fellow Rob Austin's Reliable Innovation team. After two years as a Research Associate for the Harvard Business School, she is currently a Research Associate at the University of Washington Foster School of Business (working with Cutter Fellow Dick Nolan) and a Visiting Researcher at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS).

Ms. O'Donnell has coauthored several Harvard Business School cases, and in 2005-2006 she was also a Guest Researcher for the CBS Centre for Art & Leadership. Prior to joining the Reliable Innovation team, Ms. O'Donnell spent seven years at the People's Light & Theatre Company, where Rob Austin and Cutter Senior Consultant Lee Devin conducted research for Artful Making. She has nine years experience as a theatre professional: director, dramaturg and producer.

At People's Light, Ms. O'Donnell held a full-time position as Resident Director and Dramaturg. She directed 13 productions (five world premieres), participated in theatre programming and new play development, and produced a series of summer play festivals. Other directing credits include the critically praised Philadelphia premiere of 4.48 Psychosis. Ms. O'Donnell is currently a Company Member at People's Light. She received the 2000 Princess Grace Theatre Directing Apprenticeship Award and was a Coolidge Otis Chapman Honors Scholar, graduating from the University of Puget Sound in 1997.
