Author Rohan Beckle saw this result as evidence that awareness of virtualization's benefits is low, but bound to grow. "Virtualization has proven itself in the server market and is the cornerstone of cloud computing environments such as Amazon's EC2. Mobile virtualization works in a similar fashion, enabling an application or an entire mobile operating system to run in a secure, contained, and trusted environment. It is a boon to those enterprises looking to implement a robust BYOD mobile strategy, where a completely separate OS instance configured for enterprise needs can run alongside the default consumer-oriented OS environment."
