What Is Quality?

I want to make two statements about quality that apply to many project teams that I work with. First, the desire to deliver high-quality products is a key motivator for most project teams. People want to deliver quality results. Second, in most project teams, there is barely any discussion about the definition of quality. There is no shared understanding of what quality means.
