Managing a sourcing relationship is not always a simple process, primarily because the relationship connects two or more culturally different business entities. While the involved companies may unite by aligning or complementing their business domain(s) or technical expertise in the areas of people, process, and technology, their business models of operations will most likely be very different. In many cases, the organizations will also have distinct business goals and objectives.
