Whole New Dimensions of Interaction: Microsoft Surface, Nintendo Wii-Fit, and Apple

Recently, I was in Tampa and Chicago during the same week to speak at data management and business process conferences. It gave me a chance to find out what some of the best and brightest in the business were forecasting for the future of technology. I would imagine that all told there were more than 1,000 technology folks at these conferences. The numbers were down from last year, but still impressive. Despite the brainpower at these conferences, however, I was most taken by the breakthrough technologies that I stumbled onto in a hotel lobby and in a friend's exercise room.
