Key Strategic Trends for 2010

For the CIO, the past several years have brought much to think about. The financial crisis has affected all areas of business, while developments in such areas as cloud computing and collaboration/social applications have created a wide range of new initiatives and approaches to technology. For the coming year, decisions need to be made in a variety of areas that have been affected by current trends, and they range across the IT landscape. Information technology is moving into a new epoch, and the defining line may well be the year 2010.
