Q: What is the biggest concern regarding mobile devices for managers, employees, and clients?

Our recent survey showed that though security is the biggest sole concern for managers, convenience is of equal concern for employees and clients. According to author Simon Woodworth, since "... the weakest link in any security infrastructure is likely to be the human using the device, organizations must consider developing a security system that does not force users to circumvent it. An effective security policy is a balance between reducing risk to an acceptable level and not imposing onerous constraints on employees and clients. I suggest educating both parties regarding the need for enterprise security -- this is a good place to start, followed by some dialogue on what security measures would make everyone comfortable. Nobody wants to be the person responsible for misplacing valuable data, so a reasonable compromise that minimizes risk is possible."
