Stephen Rogers

Stephen Rogers is a Partner at Arthur D. Little, where he leads the global energy competence center on upstream oil and gas, exploration, development and production. He advises clients on a variety of strategic, technical, economic/commercial and operational issues, and is an expert on arbitration and litigation matters across a wide range of technical and commercial aspects of the oil and gas industry.

With more than 36 years’ experience in global upstream oil and gas, including 23 years with BP, Hess and TXU/EON in various technical and commercial/economic roles, including as geologist, economist, and regional asset manager, Stephen is widely known for his expertise in strategy, planning, and due diligence valuation of upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas assets and oil field services operations.  He has deep understanding of the issues involved in assessing oil and gas exploration, appraisal and development acreage, and of the techniques used to define prospectivity.

Stephen holds a BA/MA in geology/earth science (1st Class Honors) from University of Oxford, and an MBA from INSEAD. He can be reached at consulting@cutter.com.
