Benjamin Duke

Benjamin Duke has research interests in active pedagogy, aging demography, criticality, curriculum design, European Green Deal, Europeanisation, experiential learning, gender equality, global social policy, higher education, international development, LGBTIQA++ issues, political science, squatter’s social movements, and sustainable business. Dr. Duke currently works or has worked in research positions for University College London (UCL), UK; the University of Northampton, UK; and the University of Nottingham, UK. He has published more than 20 discussion papers, including three book chapters, two conference papers, and a book review, with more publishing in the works. Dr. Duke is Deputy Lead Governor for NHS Sheffield and volunteers for Sheffield Mencap, assisting vulnerable adults and children with learning difficulties. He also volunteers for numerous other UK charities, helping people receive social justice. Dr. Duke earned a PhD in social policy from Keele University, UK.
