Dwight Collins

Dwight Collins is Dean Emeritus and a member of the founding faculty at the Presidio Graduate School, recognized by the New York Times in 2015 as “the MBA program to attend to change the world.” He was Dean of Presidio’s MBA Program from 2013 to 2015. Dr. Collins cofounded the school’s Experiential Learning Program and has taught his signature “Sustainable Operations and Supply Chain Management” course since the school's founding. He is founder and President of the Collins Educational Foundation, which has sponsored studies on the role of cultural evolution in business. Early in his career, Dr. Collins was a Senior Researcher as a Captain in the United States Air Force and at Washington DC’s thinktank LMI. He was also a member of ExxonMobil Corporation’s Worldwide Operations Research Group. Prior to joining Presidio, as a senior member of the consulting staff at Chesapeake Decision Sciences and Aspen Technology, Dr. Collins implemented decision support system software solutions to optimize the supply chains of many Fortune 50 companies. He earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering physics and master of science and PhD degrees in operations research, all from Cornell University. He can be reached at decollins21@comcast.net.
