Mark Levison Senior Consultant

Mark Levison is a Senior Consultant with Cutter Consortium's Agile Product & Project Management practice. He is also the principal consultant with Pure Agile Consulting, an Agile and Lean consulting company that focuses on helping its customers to deliver working software every two weeks. Mark has been an Agile practitioner since 2001, introducing Agile methods one practice at a time inside a small team. Over the course of the last three years, as an employee of a large ISV, Mark introduced Scrum and coached a number of teams within the organization. He also designed a Test Driven Development strategy and introduced a number of practices to support it.

Mark has over twenty years of experience building software with everything from waterfall process to UML diagrams. His experience includes 20 years of developing and managing software projects with small teams and groups of teams. He has worked on variety of projects from database query tools and OLAP engines to rich clients and servers.

In addition to coaching software development teams, Mark is an Agile Editor at InfoQ and has written dozens of articles on Agile topics. He also publishes Notes from a Tool User, a blog about Agile software development and digital photography. When not in front of a computer, Mark spends his time with his wife and two daughters.
