The Twin Towers cast a shadow on this issue of Cutter IT Journal, at least in the sense that the events there forced us to rethink the unthinkable: questions of architectural support for real-world safety, how risk assessments exclude implausible scenarios, and, of course, how lucky we are to be alive.
