When Andrew McAfee wrote his original blog entry defining Enterprise 2.0 as organizations' use of collaborative tools to facilitate communications [3], the definition seemed to be accepted rapidly by the market and by many IT bloggers. But the enterprise is not like the Web. It takes more than blogs and wikis to make an organization generate more revenue or reduce costs. Yes, adopting collaboration tools will help, but that doesn't constitute a major revision of the enterprise.
