Building Sustainable IT

In today's global marketplace, information technology is very horizontal, spanning almost every industry with its products and services. The ubiquitous need for infrastructure and communications has made IT into an indispensable resource into which billions of dollars are invested yearly. Another horizontal movement that spans industries around the globe is environmental sustainability. Research shows that our nonrenewable resources cannot support our energy consumption trend.
