Implementing an e-business strategy was once thought of as an oxymoron by many e-businesses. They viewed strategy as a notion for old and slow economy companies -- you know, the ones that were supposed to be swept away by the new economy. Strategy was seen as irrelevant given the pace of change, competition, and the inability to predict where the company would be in the future.
