Siah Hwee Ang is Professor in Strategy and International Business and Chair in Business in Asia at the School of Marketing and International Business at Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), New Zealand. His expertise focuses on the connection between strategy, business, and trade. Dr. Ang has been published in various journals, including Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of World Business, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Research, Management International Review, Long Range Planning, and International Journal of Human Resource Management, and his work has led to five research awards. Dr. Ang is Senior Editor at Journal of World Business, Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Asia Pacific Journal of Management, and a member of the OECD’s Entrepreneurship Education Collaboration and Engagement Committee. He is also president of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, board member of Business Central New Zealand, and former board member of the ASEAN NZ Business Council. Before joining VUW, Dr. Ang was Professor and Associate Dean at the University of Auckland Business School, New Zealand, and worked at City St George’s, University of London, UK, and the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is Visiting Professor at several Asian universities and is frequently featured in the media as an expert on Asia and international trade matters. Dr. Ang earned his PhD in management from NUS.
