Trevor Hunter

Trevor Hunter is Associate Professor of Governance and Management at King’s University College, Canada. For 25 years, he has been involved with nonprofit governance as a researcher, professor, consultant, and director. Dr. Hunter is currently board vice chair and chair of the governance committee at Museum London and board member of the London International Airport Authority. His research has been published in the Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Nonprofit Education and Leadership, Ivey Business Journal, and Journal of Cleaner Production and Sustainability. Dr. Hunter has presented his work at leading conferences, including the annual meetings of the Academy of Management, Academy of International Business, Strategic Management Society, Administrative Science Association of Canada, Greening of Industry Network, Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action, and the Conference Board of Canada. He was a member of King’s University College Foundation board, the Governance Capacity Building Committee of the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies, Chair of the Governance Committee of the Middlesex-London Board of Health, a member of the Youth Opportunities Unlimited board, Board Chair at the London Small Business Centre, and board member of the Southwestern Ontario Chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
