Ken Hatano is Chief Specialist in the Deep Learning Technology Department of the IoT Technology Center at Toshiba Corporation’s Industrial ICT Solutions Company. He focuses on strategic alliances by exploring partnerships to better leverage Toshiba’s IoT solutions and deep learning technology. Mr. Hatano serves on the OpenFog Consortium Japan Regional Committee and the Software Infrastructure Working Group. He has extensive ICT (information and communications technology) and software development experience. Mr. Hatano has a bachelor of science degree in computer science and a master’s degree in computational intelligence and systems science from Tokyo Institute of Technology, along with a master’s degree in information networking from Carnegie Mellon University.
