Nilesh Khandelwal

Nilesh Khandelwal is Chief Product Officer at Rakuten Rewards. Previously, he was a Principal at Arthur D. Little (ADL) and a member of ADL’s global Telecommunications, Information Technology, Media & Electronics (TIME) practice. Mr. Khandelwal has a track record of working with senior executives to lead digital transformation, growth strategy development, technology assessment, portfolio and cost optimization, and new business/product launch efforts. Prior to ADL, he led the Product and Tech practice at MAG Consulting Group, advising clients on the cloudification of business, launching over-the-top (OTT), scaling business/product, monetizing APIs, and rationalizing the IT infrastructure. Mr. Khandelwal is cofounder and former CEO of NumerX, an analytics company acquired by MuleSoft, and he also advises and invests in startups in payments, artificial intelligence/robotics/automation, enterprise software, and direct-to-consumer disruption. He earned an MBA in marketing, entrepreneurship, and strategic management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; a master’s of science degree in electrical engineering and computer sciences from Ohio University; and bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Mumbai University, India.
