Mark S. Choate is an author and Senior Consultant for Transparensee Systems, a company specializing in search and discovery tools that provide fuzzy matching, faceted search, data visualization, and free text search. He is the author of Professional Wikis. Prior to joining Transparensee, Mr. Choate was cofounder of The Choate Group; a lecturer at Georgetown University's Communication, Culture, and Technology (CCT) graduate program; and former VP of Interactive Media for News & Observer, the world's first online newspaper.
