Denis Daus

Denis Daus is Project Coordinator and Research Facilitator at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany where he is currently coordinating an international and interdisciplinary research project focusing on innovations through circular supply chains and sustainable development in the Mediterranean region. Through exchange programs at Chiang Mai University, Thailand, and the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Mr. Daus enriched his understanding of operations, logistics, lean manufacturing, and international business. He then pursued an international double degree in industrial engineering, logistics planning, and supply chain management, finishing with a master's project in cooperation with Bayer, where he gained valuable industry insights. Mr. Daus’s professional path includes roles as researcher in supply chain development and strategy at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics, Germany, where he contributed to international and German research and industrial projects on digitalization in supply chain management. Additionally, Mr. Daus has been involved in teaching and research at TU Dortmund University, Germany, specializing in circular economy and sustainability in supply chains.
