Ghulam Sorwar is Professor of Finance and Deputy Director of the Institute of Sustainable Futures at Keele University, UK. His research focuses on quantitative finance and more recently on green finance and its impact on the wider economy. Dr. Sorwar is particularly interested in examining the broader repercussions stemming from the introduction of new financial instruments and how they influence overall economic stability. Prior to joining academia, he worked as a senior investment analyst at Abbey Life Investment Services. Dr. Sorwar earned a master of science degree and a PhD from City University London, UK.
