Jaquelin Cochran

Jaquelin Cochran is Director of the Grid Planning and Analysis Center at National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), where she focuses on the evolution of the power grid with high deployment of renewable energy. She recently led the Los Angeles 100% Renewable Energy Study and a portfolio of analyses about India’s power system. Previously, Dr. Cochran was Assistant Professor of natural resource management with KIMEP University, Kazakhstan. She also served as a Peace Corps volunteer with the Polish Foundation for Energy Efficiency. Dr. Cochran earned a PhD from the Energy and Resources Group at the University of California, Berkeley.
