José Garcia-Alonso is Associate Professor at the University of Extremadura, Spain. In the last 10 years, his research interests have focused on quantum software engineering, e-health continuum, and gerontechnology. These interests have led to numerous publications in indexed journals and international conference proceedings, as well as participation in several research projects. Dr. Garcia-Alonso has also contributed to the founding of three technology-based companies. He earned a PhD in computer science from the University of Extremadura.
