Testing E-Business Applications: Introduction

Time was, testing was a narrowly defined set of activities that began late in the development phase and concluded shortly before deployment. Ideally, the requirements were mapped directly to test cases, and somewhere in the test plan there were definitions of entry and exit criteria, the duration of testing, and specifications for reports and test labs.
