Daniel Gozman is a Lecturer at Henley Business School at the University of Reading. He teaches at executive, master’s, and undergraduate levels with a concentration in business transformation, management, and consulting. Dr. Gozman is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, member of the Association of Information Systems, and holds professional membership with the BCS Chartered Institute for IT. His research has focused on understanding how governance, risk, and compliance activities are underpinned by technology with a specific focus on the intersection between regulatory change, information systems, and capital markets. Recent work has centered on fintech, blockchain, crowdfunding, and big data technologies. Dr. Gozman’s work has been published in various peer-reviewed journals, and he has been invited to present his work at international conferences. He has also contributed to articles in the Sunday Times, Vice Magazine, and Computer Weekly.
Prior to academia, Dr. Gozman worked for a global management consultancy and a big four accounting firm. His consulting experience includes helping a cloud vendor enter the fintech market and assisting a US financial services process and trading outsourcer on new regulations. Dr. Gozman has also worked to refine risk management practices within a top-tier European investment bank and has consulted on securitization deals. Other consulting experience includes helping an international telecommunications company manage software license compliance and developing outsourcing processes for a global mailstream provider. Dr. Gozman holds a first-class honors degree in computer science, an MSc with distinction in information systems and management, and a PhD in information systems and innovation from the London School of Economics.
