Ms. Larsen is cofounder of FutureWorks Consulting LLC and is considered an authority in Agile software development, team leadership, and Agile adoption. Drawing on her 20-plus years working with technical professionals, she coaches managers on their role in a changing workplace and leads system-wide groups in collaborative thinking and planning for Agile adoptions.
Ms. Larsen is coauthor of Agile Retrospectives: Making Good Teams Great, Liftoff: Launching Agile Teams and Projects, Quickstart Guide to Five Rules for Accelerated Learning, and co-originator of the breakthrough Your Path through Agile Fluency model. She has produced several Cutter Executive Updates, including: "Teamwork Required: Managing Agile Application Delivery in a Matrix Organization," "Team Collaboration for Executive Leadership," Using the Retrospective for Positive Change" and more.
A respected contributor to her professional community, Ms. Larsen served for eight years as Director and Chair of the Agile Alliance board; currently serves as board member for Organization Design Forum, Agile Open Northwest, and Language Hunters; and is an Associate of the Human Systems Dynamics Institute.
