Johanna Kujala

Johanna Kujala is Professor in Management and Organizations and Vice Dean for Research in the Faculty of Management and Business at Tampere University, Finland. She is also Director of Tampere’s RESPMAN Research Group, which conducts research on the relationships between business, society, and nature. Dr. Kujala has directed several interdisciplinary research projects. She has been a visiting scholar at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and the University of Chieti–Pescara, Italy. Dr. Kujala has been published in nearly 120 peer-reviewed scientific articles and chapters in international journals, volumes, and proceedings, including Business & Society and Journal of Business Ethics. Her current research interests focus on stakeholder theory and engagement as well as sustainable value creation, the circular economy, and commons governance. Dr. Kujala earned a licentiate degree in business ethics and stakeholder management from Tampere University and a PhD in corporate strategy from University of Jyväskylä.
