Kevin O'Leary's research has focused on distributed collaboration as well as the value of emerging opportunities in fintech, including blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and open banking. Dr. O'Leary has experience with startups, as Head of IT for Trustap, a secure online transaction platform, and as a blockchain consultant with Claru, a technology company looking to leverage blockchain for food traceability. Previously, he worked as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst for American Tower Corporation. Dr. O'Leary earned a PhD from UCC, based out of the State Street Advanced Technology Centre.
