Oliver Turnbull

Oliver Turnbull has a 30-year background in information technology and is a member of Arthur D. Little's AMP open consulting network. He has most recently been focused on enterprise digital solutions and Artificial Intelligence, delivering diverse projects including material consumption predictions, risk factor detection in speech, and gaming disruption on the railway. Other recent engagements have included digitizing the user experience and service management at a FTSE100 entertainment company, and designing the strategy to bring service management in-house for a global media business. Oliver remains true to the consulting principle of taking the client on the journey, focusing on the problem and only using technology where it adds value.

Oliver is a vastly experienced and lively facilitator who uses his 10 years' experience on the London standup circuit to bring humor and energy to the workshops and seminars he runs. More and more, he is looking outside the world of ICT into businesses to help them formulate strategies, make sense of their data, and understand the implications to them of a rapidly changing technology landscape.

Oliver has worked in the public sector and in the healthcare, retail, leisure, transport, and manufacturing industries, as well as for startups. He led a program leading up to London 2012 to deliver the operational systems needed to build the Olympic Park at Stratford. Oliver has been fortunate to have led a broad range of assignments from strategy to program delivery and client-side advisory, and continues to relish fresh challenges and exploiting new technologies.
