Gloria Phillips Wren

Gloria Phillips-Wren is Full Professor and Chair of Information Systems, Law, and Operations at Loyola University Maryland. Her research interests include decision making, decision support systems, analytics, big data, business intelligence, data mining, intelligent systems, and technology use under stress. Dr. Phillips-Wren is coeditor of Intelligent Decision Technologies, former chair of the Association for Information Systems Special Interest Group on Decision Support & Analytics, Secretary of the International Federation for Information Processing Working Group 8.3: Decision Support Systems, leader of a KES International focus group, and Associate Editor of Journal of Decision Systems. She joined academia after a career in R&D of advanced weapons for the US federal government, where she held various leadership positions. Dr. Phillips-Wren is coauthor of a book on advanced propulsion, coeditor of 11 books on intelligent decision technologies, has been published in numerous academic journals, and has served as a keynote speaker and consultant. She holds a master of science degree and a PhD in information systems from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland.
