Benjamin Schooley

Benjamin L. Schooley is a Research Faculty member at the School of Information Systems and Technology, Claremont Graduate University. Dr. Schooley's research and professional work has addressed several substantive areas, including electronic healthcare systems, emergency management and disaster preparedness, e-commerce development and strategy, regional technology planning, and e-government deployment. His recent work on performance management information systems for emergency medical response has received national funding from the NSF and the US Department of Transportation and includes working with large regional trauma centers, county emergency medical service systems, the Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA).

A member of the ACM, the Academy of Management, and IEEE, Dr. Schooley has presented and published numerous articles in a variety of journals, including Communications of the ACM,Information Systems FrontiersGovernment Information Quarterly, and Journal of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Dr. Schooley received his MBA from the Peter F. Drucker School of Management, and his PhD from the School of Information Systems and Technology, Claremont Graduate University.
