Mary Welch

Mary Welch is President of Sales Strategies, Inc., a sales and marketing consultancy in Alton Bay, New Hampshire. She is an expert in software asset management, including software license terms and practices, pricing structures, contract negotiations, license management, contract negotiations, and total cost of ownership studies. Ms. Welch spent seven years with Gartner, Inc., as a Vice President and Research Director. During her tenure, she was a frequent consultant to many of the world's leading software vendors regarding their licensing and pricing practices, as well as toFortune 50 and Fortune 2000 enterprises negotiating software license agreements. Prior to Gartner, Inc., she was with Digital Equipment Corporation for 19 years, where she was the group marketing manager responsible for the development and implementation of the Digital's software licensing and license management strategies.
