Ning Su

Ning Su is an Assistant Professor at the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario (Canada). His area of expertise is global sourcing strategy. Specifically, from the sourcing client's perspective, Mr. Su conducts research on innovative sourcing models, including multisourcing and shared services; from the service provider's perspective, he examines emerging management practices in such areas as capability development, internationalization strategy, and cultural intelligence. His research is based on extensive global field studies in financial services, technology, and consulting. Mr. Su was awarded a 2009 Best Article Award from Decision Sciences Journal. He has worked on a number of research and consulting engagements for IBM in the US, STAR TV of News Corporation in Hong Kong, and a European investment advisory firm in China. Mr. Su is completing his PhD from New York University's Stern School of Business. He holds a master's degree from the University of Toronto and a bachelor's degree from Fudan University (China).
