Alan Shalloway

Al Shalloway is the founder and CEO of Success Engineering. He is a recognized thought leader in the areas of Lean, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Kanban, Scrum, design patterns, Acceptance Test-Driven Development, Lean management, value-creation networks, Lean product management, and more. Mr. Shalloway’s focus is on providing an effective Agile-at-scale approach for large organizations, which includes helping internal change agents be self-sufficient in training their teams in a cost-effective manner. He is the creator of the FLEX system, which is the heart of the Project Management Institute’s Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant (DAVSC) workshop. Mr. Shalloway has cowritten five books ranging from Design Patterns to Agile at Scale. He is an international speaker and a former Scaled Program Consultant (SPC) Trainer and contributor to SAFe. Mr. Shalloway earned master of science degrees in electrical engineering and computer science/mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Emory, respectively.
