Ehsan Sheybani is an Assistant Professor of information systems and decision science at the University of South Florida (USF), Sarasota-Manatee. His main research is in the applications of communication, signal processing, and data analysis. Dr. Sheybani has been involved in teaching, practicing, researching, and consulting in digital signal processing in technology, system analysis, and data science for the past 20 years. He has written for many publications and has been awarded several research grants, including projects with NASA, the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, the US Department of Defense, the US Department of Education, and industry partners. Dr. Sheybani earned a bachelor of science degree, a master’s of science degree, and a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Florida, Florida State University, and USF, respectively.
